Here is a basic outline of what is involved in the installation of HID Conversion XENON Kits into any vehicle. The process is very simple. PLEASE NOTE: all kits come with a detailed instruction manual with display pictures to assist the installation further and you may contact us for inquiries about installation.
Installation Procedure
1. Wait for the engine to cool down completely before beginning the installation of the HID lighting system. Remove the joint, the back cover of the headlights, and the origninal halogen bulbs.
2. Take out the new HID lighting system from its packaging, check every piece of the system carefully, then install the lamps on the bases in the headlight lanterns.
3. Make sure the HID lamps are properly affixed into the headlights, this will avoid any problems with damage later on.
4. Drill a hole on the back cover of head lamp headlights, the hole size is around 25mm which is the size of the waterproof ring which is used as wire feed through.
5. Connect the input terminal (12V DC) of the ballast to the power supply terminal of headlights, and connect the output terminal of the ballast with the connector of the lamp.
6. Check all the installation procedures, make sure that the connection of electricity polar is correct, then start the engine of vehicle, then turn on the lamp.
7. Check the profile, height and distance of photo beam and adjust them to meet with the requirements of traffic regulations
in your state or country.
Safety Notice
1.HID vehicle lamp system generates a high voltage pulse of 23KV to ignite the lamp when in use. Therefore, remember to cut off input power when installing or detaching the lighting systems. Before installation, check the ballasts, lamps, wires, plugs and all other parts carefully. If any damage is found, stop operation immediately.
2. When installing this product, we suggest you use our included relay system as it is designed specifically for our kits.
3. Never touch the lamp with your finger, otherwise you may damage the lamp or shorten its life.
4. HID lamps obviously emit bright lights which can be damaging to your vision if you look directly into it, this is under the same principle that you should not stare directly at the sun for a prolonged time.
5. After the engine of the car is stopped and cools down completely, then install or remove the HID lighting system to avoid personal injury by high temperature.
6. Periodically clean the lamp to maintain the quality of light for the lamps.
